Plunge welcomes Axis of Conversation!

Plunge Records will re-release 'Delusions of Safety', the debut full-length from Calgary experimental pop collective Axis of Conversation. The band is currently finalizing a summer tour, starting with a June 27 date at Pumphouse Theatre for the Sled Island Festival. The album is now available here as download and physical copy.

The Throes packed the house on Tuesday night @ Lime in Vancouver. The upcoming release on Plunge is in mixing stages, and will be available here soon. A collaborative project featuring Gordon Grdina - guitar, Kenton Loewen - drums, J.P. Carter - trumpet/electronics, and Simon Fisk - double bass/electronics, the Throes toss anchors into art-rock, free improvised, electronica, subtle texture and noise.

Uncommon Gold's 'Slow Burn' now in stock at the Plunge Store.

UCG's production team of Robert Kenney, Jon Kooy and Craig Waddell are ramping up for the filming of the first video from the new album. The video version of Slow Burn, shot separately as a live studio take on April 19, will be followed by a live concert set recorded in 5.1 surround and filmed during the official album launch on April 21.

Featuring 5 new songs the session will be made available later this year as a special edition release. Watch the event live on Plunge TV and plungelive.net; 8:30pm Vancouver time.
